Some of the Cheltenham squad spent some time at Gloucester Royal children's ward this week.
The Cheltenham Town squad gave up some hours in their day this week to help various charities across Gloucestershire this week including Gloucester Royal's children's centre. The players delivered presents to all the children ahead of Christmas and got to know many of the brave children with many spending their Christmas as the ward.
"We always enjoy seeing the children here at Gloucester Royal and it really is a reality check," said media & communcation officer James Brown.
"There are children who will be spending their Christmas at the hospital this year and it does make you stop to think how lucky you are. All of the children are so brave and, despite what a lot of them are going through, they always have a smile on their face. The players were superb and went down really well with the kids. We have a group of players to be proud of at this club and I hope we have done just a little to make their Christmas special."
Some of the players were also out at different charities throughout the county including the County Community Projects, Everyman Theatre, Butterfly Garden and the National Star College.
