Cheltenham Town booked an FA Cup third round tie v. Everton after beating Hereford 2-1 after extra time last night.

Shaun Harrad had given Cheltenham the lead late on in the first half after McGlashan was fouled by Gallinagh and the striker netted from the penalty spot with an emphatic strike. The second half was a much more competitive affair and Hereford grabbed a goal through Sam Clucas' cross which evaded everyone before settling into the bottom corner.

The game slipped into extra time with Hereford sitting back and defending for penalties but a Billy Jones cross found the head of Kaid Mohamed in the dying embers of the game and the roof was lifted off Edgar Street as the Robins roared victorious. Now Cheltenham will host Premiership side Everton in the FA Cup third round here at the Abbey Business Stadium.
