Robins produce confident performance to beat Solihull Moors
Cheltenham Town produced a solid performance to beat Solihull Moors 2-1 in the final pre-season match ahead of the new season starting.
A first half goal from Jeff Goulding handed the Robins a lead but it could have been more with Jermaine McGlashan and Chris Zebroski both looking dangerous on the attack. A second half goal from Shaun Harrad won the game for Cheltenham but Mark Yates' side did suffer a scare late on when Junior English pulled a goal back and trialist goalkeeper Connor Roberts was forced into a very good save to deny the Moors an equaliser. Now attention turns to the Capital One Cup first round and MK Dons.
