Cheltenham would take the lead in the game however, a mistake at the back from MK Dons gifted the ball to Bonds, who tucked the ball home from close range.
Bonds went for goal again just before half-time, putting the ball just over the bar from outside the area.
The Dons would pull one back before halftime, with Eisa drilling the ball into the bottom corner of Southwood's goal.
