Former Everton goalkeeper Connor Roberts signed a one year contract with Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2012 following a successful trial spell with the club.
Roberts joined the Toffees at the age of 15 and spent time out on loan with Burscough and Colwyn Buy last season. The Wrexham-born shot stopper is a former Wales under 16 & 17 international but found hisĀ optionsĀ limited at Goodison Park and was released in the summer of 2012. He enjoyed trials with both Northampton and Cheltenham before opting to link up with the Robins for the 2012-13 campaign.
