22-year-old goalkeeper Calum Kitscha joined Cheltenham Town on a one-year-deal in July 2015, following his exit from Hayes and Yeading.
The Enfield-born stopper started out with Bishops Stortford and then Histon, as he rose to prominence at Vanarama National League North level, enjoying a clean sweep of the Cambridgeshire club’s 2013/14 Player of the Season awards.
He moved to Hayes and Yeading, and was soon capped by England at C level, making his debut against Turkey in the International Challenge Trophy in October 2014.
Tipped as one of the hottest goalkeepers outside the Football League, 6’2” Kitscha has been handed squad number 12 by Gary Johnson and will provide competition to Charlton Athletic loanee Dillon Phillips.
