Young defender Josh Quaynor joined the Cheltenham Town Centre of Excellence at the Under-14 age group and made rapid progress, making appearances for the youth team as an Under-16 player.
Born in Redditch, Josh is a solid left-back who can also deliver set pieces, as he proved by scoring from a series of free-kicks for the youth team at the start of the 2009-10 season.
He signed a Scholarship contract in the summer of 2008 and quickly broke into the reserve team. His first involvement with the first team came during the 2009 pre-season programme and he was named as a substitute in the Football League for the first time in November 2009.
