Theo is a product of the Cheltenham Town Centre of Excellence and was previously a schoolboy player at both Chelsea and Reading. He came to Cheltenham as a 15-year old and scored 16 goals for the youth team during the 2007/08 season.

In recognition of that potential he appeared in a pre-season friendly and scored against Championship side Southampton ahead of the following senior team's campaign. Theo eventually made two first team appearances for the Robins from the substitutes bench during the final two fixtures of the 2008/09 Coca Cola League One season.
