The 26 year old striker moved to Cheltenham Town during the summer of 2010 signing a one year contract with the Robins.

Jeff started his career as a youth player with Reading and Crystal Palace before signing for Hayes in 2005. He soon moved to their local rivals Yeading where he scored ten goals in the 2006/07 season. The striker then joined Fisher Athletic for the 2007/08 season and scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for the Blue Square South side.

During his time with Fisher, Goulding attracted the interest of England C manager Paul Fairclough and made one appearance against the Welsh U23's in a 2-1 victory.

Jeff signed for AFC Bournemouth from Fisher Athletic in 2008 and scored on his debut for the Cherries in a Johnstone Paint Trophy game versus Bristol Rovers. He scored his first league goal in a 3-1 victory over Bradford City and following a loan spell with Eastbourne Borough he returned to Dean Court in March 2009 where he made an instant impact with a brace in the 4-1 away victory over Bradford.

Goulding scored his first Cheltenham Town goal in the 3-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra and went on to score ten goal in the 2010-11 season.

The forward scored 4 goals in 18 starting appearances during his time with the Cherries and began the 2009/10 season as a first team player only for an injury to sideline him for a number of weeks. With Bournemouth maintaining their big promotion shove a settled side resulted in the player making the majority of his league appearances during 2009/10 from the substitutes bench, with his only goal came in the 2-2 draw with League Two champions Notts County.
