Michael joined Cheltenham Town following his release by Swindon Town during the summer of 2009 and soon demonstrated how capable he was during the pre-season games ahead of the new campaign.
A stylish central midfielder who can also operate on the left of a team, he was product of the Swindon Town youth system and made his debut for the Wiltshire side in October 2003.
Michael went on to make more than 100 first team appearances for Swindon and was a key member of their 2006-07 League Two promotion side before agreeing to sign a one year contract at Cheltenham, commencing from August 2009. Pook was also handed the role of club captain following the departure of Shane Duff.
