A game of two halves saw Cheltenham suffer their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Rotherham United in a ten goal encounter.

The Robins went in at the break 3-2 up but a rejuvenated Millers side, along with an impressive Le Fondre, made an impressive comeback to secure all three points. Goulding, Thomas, Jeffers and Lowe were all on the scoresheet for Cheltenham but there will be plenty to ponder over following today's game.

4 GOAL: Jeff Goulding opened the scoring for Cheltenham Town. Pook delivered a decent ball over to Danny Andrew on the left wing and Andrew's sweet delivery found Goulding unmarked at the back post. The former Bournemouth striker volleyed it in with his right foot to put Cheltenham in command.

9: First attack of the game for Rotherham came to nothing. Newey found his way down the left wing and laid a good ball off to Ellison. The winger sent in a low cross but Brown was quick to gather up the ball.

16 GOAL: 1-1, Adam Le Fondre pulled Rotherham level with a decent finish past Brown. The striker broke away on the right and travelled unchallenged into the area putting his shot right into the bottom corner.

19: Josh Low had a great chance to put the Robins back in front. He found space on the right hand side of the area but dragged his shot across goal.

25: Nervy stuff from the Robins. Andrew was chasing a long ball back with Nicky Law following and the defender's header back to Brown fell short allowing the Rotherham midfielder to charge down the loose ball. Brown made a good block to deny Law and Elliott made a good challenge to deny the midfielder a second attempt.

28 GOAL: Wesley Thomas scored to put Cheltenham back in front. Elliott sent a long ball down the right wing and found Smikle. Junior made his way into the box and knocked a simple pass across goal and Thomas neatly placed the ball into the back of the net. That will be the easiest goal Thomas scores all season.

31 BOOKING: Rotherham striker Tom Elliott was booked following a challenge with Andrew.

34 SUBSTITUTION: Shaun Jeffers replaced Jeff Goulding.

36 GOAL: Shaun Jeffers got Cheltenham's third with his first real touch of the game. The ball found Wesley Thomas on the left wing and the striker played a neat ball past Holden and into the path of Jeffers who tucked the ball in at the near post. Possible question mark over Warrington because he had plenty of time to come out and collect that ball.

41 GOAL: Danny Harrison pulled Rotherham a goal back just before half time with a lofted shot over Brown and into the Cheltenham net. It was good build-up play from the Millers who had drifted a dangerous looking cross into the box beforehand until it found Harrison on the edge of the area.

45: Frankie Artus attempted a curling right footed shot from just outside the area but it went wide of Warrington's goal.

45+2: Tom Elliott missed a back post header from a Le Fondre delivery.

Half Time: Rotherham 2-3 Robins

46: Keith Lowe just saved Cheltenham's blushes when Brown missed a catch. Ellison's cross caused the problems but Lowe was quick to clear the danger.

47 GOAL: Rotherham won a penalty after Tom Elliott was bundled over in the area by Josh Low. Le Fondre stepped up and saw his penalty saved by Brown but the rebound fell straight to the striker and he simply placed it into the back of the net.

49 BOOKING: Michael Pook was booked and conceded a freekick.

50 GOAL: Rotherham took the lead through Adam Le Fondre. The freekick following Pook's booking wasn't dealt with and the striker headed home to bag his hat trick.

54: Wesley Thomas raced forward in a Cheltenham counter attack and pulled a neat ball across the area for Jeffers but the young striker arrived too late and the chance was wasted.

55 GOAL: Rotherham score again and thsi time it's Ryan Cresswell. The corner was floated in and the unmarked Rotherham captain put the ball away to put the Millers in command.

65: Adam Le Fondre had a decent drive saved by Brown. The long ball was pumped forward and the striker showed good composure to bring it down on the corner of the area and fire in a shot at goal.

66 GOAL: 6-3 Rotherham, Le Fondre was played in on goal by Law and he fired a shot past Brown. The Robins keeper got a hand to it but couldn't stop the ball from dribbling in.

70 PENALTY MISS: Wesley Thomas saw his penalty saved well by Warrington. Jeffers had hit the post in the build-up and the referee called a penalty following a goal mouth scramble. It was hard to see what actually happened in amongst all the bodies. Thomas fired the penalty to the right but Warrington saved well to deny Cheltenham a way back into the game.

73 SUBSTITUTION: Tom Elliott was replaced by Marcus Marshall.

74: Dave Bird denied Le Fondre another shot at goal. The long ball found it's way through the Cheltenham defence but the outstretched leg swept the ball away from Le Fondre and away from danger.

76: Pook just got his final warning  after a clumsy challenge on Le Fondre.

76 SUBSTITUTION: Rotherham's Paul Warne replaced Kevin Ellison.

79 DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION: Robin Shroot replaced Wesley Thomas in the front line. JJ Melligan was brought on for Josh Low.

82: Good effort on goal from Artus but it proved comfortable in the end for Warrington. The midfielder turned on the edge of the box and fired in a shot but the Rotherham keeper had no problems claiming it.

89: Decent play from both Smikle and Jeffers. Junior threaded a neat ball through the Rotherham defence but the effort from Jeffers was blocked by Cresswell.

90 GOAL: Keith Lowe recorded his first goal of the season with a strong header from a Danny Andrew corner.

90+4: Danny Andrew fired in a long range shot over the head of Warrington but the keeper made the save just in time and kept the ball on the goal line.
