Cheltenham Town inched closer to safety today with a hard fought point over Rotherham United here at the Don Valley Stadium and it is now five games unbeaten for the Robins.

Rotherham certainly tested the Robins resolve at the back today but a superb performance from the back four ensured that Cheltenham would go happy this evening.

Mark Yates had the pleasure of naming the same line-up that started out against Shrewbury Town on Tuesday night following a very good performance. Matt Thornhill returned to the squad and took his place on the bench but Michael Townsend could not prove his fitness in time to make the trip to Sheffield today. Aaron Lescott also missed out due to his knee injury.

5: The Rotherham fans were up on their feet following a decent chance but the linesman had flagged for offside. It was a poor headed clearance from the Robins but the header back in found Le Fondre offside.

10: Kevin Ellison tested Scott Brown for the first time following a lapse of concentration from left back Danny Andrew. The youngster failed to get the ball under control and Ellison took advantage to fire in a shot at Brown but it proved to be comfortable.

14: First bit of real attacking play from the Robins. Pook slipped a ball wide to Low who stormed down the right wing and put in a good looking cross but Fenton was able to clear the danger before Elito could finish the chance off.

20: How have Rotherham not scored? Duff was forced to play a ball back to Brown but he has missed the ball completely when trying to clear it. Le Fondre took possession and played the ball to Ellison who was free in the area. Ellison simply couldn't miss but he lost his footing and the comedy of errors was put to bed with a clearance from the Robins defence.

23 BOOKING: Gavin Gunning was the first player yellow carded this afternoon for a foul on Dave Bird.

31: Great play from Rotherham to set up a fantastic chance at goal. Nicky Law produced some good football down the right wing and laid it off to Le Fondre who had a pop at goal but the effort was denied by Brown.

32: Another good save from Brown. Le Fondre released Marshall down the middle and into the area. Marshall found some room to release the shot but Brown got down early and saved with his legs.

34: Dangerous spell of pressure from Rotherham. It was Nicky Law's turn to fire in a shot at Scott Brown but Duff was able to close down the effort and deflect it away from danger.

35: Ellison has wasted another chance to put the Millers in the lead. It was some great play from Marshall down the left wing that gave him the opportunity but his effort was a poor one and it flew wide of Brown's post.

43: Decent enough effort from Pook. He found the ball at his feet about 20 yards out but his curling effort was a comfortable save for Warrington.

43 SUBSTITUTION: Matt Thornhill was brought on to replace Dave Bird. That could possibly be an injury from the foul on Bird earlier in the game.

Half Time: Millers 0-0 Robins

51: Rotherham have started the second half well. Ellison played a good pall into Le Fondre who laid it back off again to the midfielder. Ellison fired in a dangerous shot from 20 yards but Brown watched it fly over his crossbar.

56: Freekick for the Robins but the 20 yard angled effort from Michael Pook flew over Warrington's goal.

58 SUBSTITUTION: Jamie Green was brought on by Ronnie Moore to replace Gavin Gunning.

60 BOOKING: Pablo Mills was given a yellow card for the foul on Barry Hayles.

65: The Robins were breathing a sigh of relief as Justin Richards cleared a Pablo Mills effort off the line. The strong midfielder collected the ball from a left wing cross but saw his effort denied by the Cheltenham striker.

71 SUBSTITUTION: Abdulai bell-Baggie was brought on to replace Josh Walker.

74: Kevin Ellison almost gave Rotherham the lead again but a Shane Duff deflection just about saw the ball glide over the bar. Ellison has played very well today but has been largely wasteful.

81 SUBSTITUTION: Rotherham make their last change with Marshall being replaced by Craig McAllister.

82: Rotherham's Ian Sharps clears an Elito effort off the line. Josh Low had set the young winger up with a decent cross but the Millers centre back denied Cheltenham the lead.

83: Adam Le Fondre came close with a stooping header. It was Bell-Baggie's cross that provided the opportunity but Rotherham's star striker couldn't direct the ball towards goal.

85 SUBSTITUTION: Julian Alsop replaced the hard working Barry Hayles.

86: Bell-Baggie has made all the difference for the Millers and everything is going through the young winger. He looks a big threat to the Robins in the remaining minutes.

89: Josh Low has completely annihilated Nick Fenton with a left footed piledriver from the edge of the box. The Rotherham centre back took the strike straight to the face but fair play to the lad because he's back on his feet.

90+1: Julian Alsop fired in a decent header following the cross from Thornhill but his effort flew over the crossbar.

90+5: Craig McAllister almost won it at the death with a looping strike from 20 yards but Scott Brown pulled off a good save to deny Rotherham the three points.
