Cheltenham's positive run of form continued this afternoon with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Exeter City at Whaddon Road.
Julian Alsop helped himself to his fifth and sixth goals of the season while Tony Naylor scored his second.
Only the brilliance of Exeter's Dutch goalkeeper Arjan Van Heusden prevented further Cheltenham goals as denied Alsop on a handful of other occasions.
Exeter scored with virtually the last kick of the game when Christian Roberts drove a low shot across Steve Book and inside the far post, but by then the game was over as a contest.
Cheltenham fielded the same team which beat Lincoln and drew with Kidderminster in the last two league games, which meant a return to the side following an ankle injury for Mark Yates.
He replaced Hugh McAuley who had stood in for him in Tuesday's LDV Vans Trophy win over Plymouth Argyle.
Cheltenham tore into Exeter right from the kick-off and the Exeter defence found it hard trying to cope with the Naylor/Alsop combination.
Alsop in particular had a dominant afternoon and won virtually everything that came his way in the air, Naylor playing a supporting role with his trademark clever running and neat touches.
Unlike last Saturday's match at Kidderminster however, they were supported by some imaginative passing and movement from midfield and a willingness of defenders to forage forward down the flanks.
Alsop had already tested Van Heusden with two shots from the edge of the box and both Yates and Neil Howarth had shot wide from close range before the Exeter goalkeeper performed his first acrobatics.
Jamie Victory scurried down the left and crossed for Alsop whose header was drifting inside the far post before the goalkeeper flew to palm it away.
That chance arrived mid-way through the half but it was only a matter of minutes before the first goal arrived in similar circumstances on the half-hour.
Again Victory crossed from the left and again Alsop rose unchallenged but this time Van Heusden was powerless to keep the ball out of the net.
Exeter wide man Geoff Breslan tested Steve Book with a couple of shots from distance but they were rare attacks from the visitors on an afternoon of Cheltenham dominance.
The second goal arrived ten minutes after the first when Russell Milton passed to Naylor down the left and his cross was met by a diving header from Alsop at the far post.
The second half failed to live up to the standards of the first as Exeter struggled to make any sort of impression.
Van Heusden performed more heroics when he dived full length to push away a shot from Lee Williams but the Grecians almost found a way back into it when Roberts tricked his way past Chris Banks and blasted a shot against the base of the post.
Having been let off the hook, Cheltenham pressed forward in search of a third goal and Van Heusden dived to push yet another header from Alsop over the bar before Naylor produced a fine piece of indivual skill to conjure the decisive goal.
Defender Jamie Campbell appeared to have the ball under control next to his own byline but Naylor charged in to rob him and bear down on goal.
His first shot was blocked, as was a follow-up from Alsop, but Naylor reacted quickest to turn in the rebound and ensure that Cheltenham collected their sixth win from the last eight games.
