Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates interviewed after the 3-1 defeat at Barnet in npower League Two:
"We peaked after about a minute and didn't start after that. It was a great goal from Frankie and from there our boys have thought that they haven't had to play, compete or have a bit about them.
You've got to get into games and when we scored with a great free-kick early on we didn't get into the game after that. In the end we've disappointed and conceded some poor goals.
The players were moaning about the pitch being sticky but that's no excuse and we have to just got on with it. The truth is that Barnet were better than us on the day and that's disappointing.
We'll have a look at ourselves, I'll certainly do that and so will the players. We have to be a lot better than we were today. I don't want us to be a team that is decent at home and gets beat away. We've got to sort that out and that's something we will do. We'll look to keep the ball better and use it as we like to. We have to be more resolute and defend better than we did. I thought their big lad bullied us today and that's disappointing but it spread throughout the team. We made it far too easy for the opposition.
For their second goal there was definitely something that happened to Keith Lowe. It wasn't the player who scored but whether somebody else took him out I'm not sure. I'll have a look at the DVD when we get back but it's disappointing if the referee hasn't seen something if it happened.
Having said that, there are no excuses because we didn't work hard enough as a team. That starts from the front and we didn't cause them enough problems today. The front men didn't get much service but sometimes when you come away from home it's not going to be perfect and you need to have something else up your sleeve and we didn't have that today.
Frankie Artus got a whack and had to come off so we'll see how that settles down throughout the week. Marlon Pack came on and he'll do well for us. It's difficult for him to come straight into the team but we've told him how we want to play and what we want to do. Unfortunately it didn't happen today but I'm sure he'll be part of better performances. We need to be better in every aspect of our play."
