Lee set for Cirencester loan

Posted on: Thu 02 Sep 2010

Cheltenham Town striker Jake Lee is set for a loan move to Cirencester Town.

The 18-year old, who signed his first professional contract with the Robins this summer, will link up with Robins team mate Josh Emery, who signed a one month loan at the Corinium Stadium last week.

Jake made his first team debut for Cheltenham Town at the end of the 2008-09 season and has so far made two starting and two substitute appearances for the Robins.

"This move will do Jake some good," said Cheltenham manager Mark Yates.

"Hopefully he will get to play some competitive first team football and come back stronger for it.

"I'm looking to get loan moves for one or two of the other younger players as well. Marley Watkins could really do with a couple of months out on loan somewhere and we'll look to do that if we can."
