Is there someone you know in the sporting world who deserves public recognition for their achievements?
The Gloucestershire Echo has launched its Sports Awards to reward the cream of the sporting crop in the county. Together with its sister publications The Citizen, The Forester, Stroud Life and thisisgloucestershire.co.uk, the paper wants to showcase the best of our sportsmen, women and team.
And everyone has the chance to put someone forward for one of the 10 awards - including Sports Personality of the Year and Professional Sports Personality of the Year.
There are also categories for officials, clubs, coaches, teachers and disability sports people.
The winners will be announced in November at a special gala presentation evening at The Gold Cup Suite at Cheltenham Racecourse
You can nominate via www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk or through forms published in the Echo and The Citizen.
Cheltenham Town's John Brough and Russell Milton have already nominated Under-15s coach Dave Strain and Under-11s coach Tommy Calinan in the Coach of the Year Category.
Gloucestershire Media's head of sport Phil Norris said: "We are urging Cheltenham Town's fans, players and staff to be part of our Sports Awards. They are an excellent opportunity to showcase the sporting talent and commitment in the county.
