Mark Yates speaks to the media following the 1-1 draw with Port Vale this afternoon:
"We started a bit sloppy today but apart from that I think we were probably the better team and we had the chances to go and win it. They are disappointed in the dressing room but it's good to see they weren't getting carried away with last weekend.
"I needed them to perform today and I felt we were solid and organised. We got caught out with their goal and we switched off but the reaction after the goal was pleasing. The performance was good and Vale had to change their formation in the second half which is a compliment to our lads.
"We can't worry about other teams. All we can do is concentrate on ourselves and go to Macclesfield next week and put in another performance but we should have won today.
"Louis Almond comes highly recommended by Ian Holloway and he'll get better. He has pace, he has strength and he likes to get in and around people. He is something different to what we've got and he'll be a valuable addition to our squad.
"We should have had a penalty near the end. The keeper has taken Medy (Elito) out whether it's a coming together of two players or not. Medy still had the chance of putting the ball away and it's a definate penalty.
"Having Shane Duff back is a boost but it's tough on Ashley Eastham who has been magnificent for us and he'll be back in contention for us next week. The whole back four did better than last week and, although we haven't won today, they should be proud of their performance. If we can keep putting in performances like that then we'll be fine."
