Team news
David Bird is back in training after an ankle injury and could be in contention for a return. Shane Duff is also a further week down the line in his bid for match fitness. Josh Low, however, is set to miss out with a hamstring injury picked up at Burton Albion last week.
Port Vale boss Micky Adams is likely to keep faith with the same squad that triumphed 5-0 at Chesterfield last week, although defender Gareth Owen could be a doubt due to a knee injury. Striker Geoff Horsfield (calf) and midfielder Dave Howland (knee) are definitely out.

Park and Ride
The FREE matchday shuttle bus will run between Cheltenham Racecourse Park & Ride & the Off Licence located near the junction of Whaddon Road and Prestbury Road (250 metres from ground). Buses will run every 20 minutes from 1.00pm until 2.40pm - after the game departures are 5.00pm, 5.20pm and 5.40pm. Cheltenham Town Football Club welcomes well behaved visiting supporters onto our Park & Ride shuttle bus facility.

Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates looks ahead to tomorrow's match at the Abbey Business Stadium
"The performance last week was gutsy and resillient but there were things we didn't like and it's vitally important now that the players show me how much they've learnt from the past week."

Previous meetings
Port Vale will visit the Abbey Business Stadium for the fourth time this weekend, having won twice and lost once on previous trips stretching back to 2002. Typically low-scoring affairs, there's never been more than a goal between the two sides in Gloucestershire with Mark Bridge-Wilkinson (in 2002) and former Robins loaness Leon Constantine (2006) splitting the sides in victories for the visitors. A first half goal by Paul Connor grabbed all the points for the Robins in the first game of 2008. Cheltenham Town recorded a vital point at Vale Park earlier season, courtesy of goals by last weekend's hatrick heroes Marc Richards (in Port Vale's 5-0 success at Chesterfield) and Michael Pook (at Burton Albion).
