Team news
Dave Bird (ankle ligaments) will miss out against Burton this week and could be sidelined for another few weeks yet. Shane Duff has once again been in full training with the rest of the squad this week and could make the bench this weekend. The backroom staff are hopeful of securing a reserve game next week to aid Shane's match fitness.

Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido is trying to sign former Chester defender Shaun Kelly following the winding up of City. Kelly has agreed to join Burton but his signing ahead of this weekend looks unlikely due to FA registration rules.

Head-to-head
This is only the second Football League contest between the pair, the first occuring last month when Paul Peschisolido's side went away from the Abbey Business Stadium with all the points courtesy of a 1-0 success. Striker Shaun Harrad scored the only goal on that occasion in the seventh minute. This will be the first time the Robins will visit the Pirelli Stadium, opened five years ago to replace Eton Park. Of course the Brewers' former home hosted one of the most significant game in the club's history 13 years ago, a match in which Steve Cotterill's men recorded a hard-fought 0-0 result despite Richard Dunwell's missed penalty kick to claim a spot in the Conference over fierce rivals Gloucester City and spark their remarkable ascent into the Football League. Mark Yates' men return to Derbyshire this time around in search of a result which they hope go some way to preserving that status after a difficult campaign.

Previous result
February 9, 2010 (League Two)
Cheltenham 0, Burton Albion 1 (Harrad 7)
