Mark Yates speaks to the press following the 1-0 defeat to Chesterfield:
"I thought the lads were great and today was one of our better performances. The two new lads were very good and in the second half Medy (Elito) really came into his own and showed us what a good player he can be.
"We hit the cross bar three times and to not score some of the other chances was very frustrating but we'll go again against Burton next Saturday. We're disappointed today but all is not lost. We were against a very strong and organised team today but we were perhaps the better team on the day.
"The boys have stepped up to the plate a bit more today with a couple of fresh faces and a bit more pace in the team. We switched off and gave away a penalty but we've got to learn from that and make sure it doesn't happen again. On the whole we did well today.
"I asked for more in the second half and I got that. If we could have scored then I think we could have gone on to win three points but that goal was illusive and now we'll have to come in on Monday with bright faces ready for next weekend.
"Hopefully we'll have a new face next week. I played Ridley behind Elito today for experience because he's only a young boy but I thought he was very good today particulary in the second half. Aaron Lescott settled us down well in defence and played well as did Pook and Thornhill in the middle of the park.
"It was a decent enough performance but again we haven't got anything from it. We're not going to mope and we'll be back in on Monday for a good week. We've earnt a bit of credit here today and hopefully we can carry that through to next weekend against Burton."
