Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates interviewed after the 0-0 draw at AFC Bournemouth:
"It's a tough place to come and again we've shown a lot of character, a lot of spirit and a lot of quality at times. We've thrown our bodies on the line in the last 10 or 15 minutes when they've thrown everything at us but I'm pleased with the point. We came here to win the game and we started really well but then they came and had a go at us and we stood firm.
"I can't remember Browny having too many saves to make apart from the one at the end from the free-kick, that I thought should never have been a free-kick. It's a point and it starts us on hopefully another unbeaten run. We're now looking to get a positive result on Tuesday night to take us into next week's game at Barnet.
"I was disappointed that we weren't ahead after the first half an hour. We didn't pull the trigger when perhaps we should have done. We didn't have too many shots on target but we got into some good positions that we should have done better with. But I'm not going to moan at my players about that. We haven't scored goals all season and we're going to keep working hard on the training ground to make things better, to try try and improve that to get our goal tally up. But when I see the character and the spirit that they showed me second half in particular that goes a long way.
"My two central defenders were fantastic. One or two changes were forced upon us this week for various reasons but we put a team out there that we thought could get three points. I thought Marley Watkins started really brightly and the front two were lively. We looked alright. Then, second half we had to battle and dig in. We didn't play as much as we wanted to but sometimes away from home you have to scrap and work even harder. I felt we did that and thoroughly deserved the point.
"Our wishes and thoughts are with Ashley Eastham and his family and I probably knew earlier in the week that he was not going to be able to play. We kept it quiet because I felt it wasn't right to broadcast it and Gallers went in and did a really good job. Matt Thornhill picked up a slight niggle in training and we're hoping it's only going to be seven to 10 days. Hopefully he will be back for next weekend. Julian Alsop in the warm-up yesterday, the big lump that he is, got trod on by Josh Low on his Achilles. We were hoping he would come through but it gave Jake Lee a chance on the bench and he was a willing runner who did a job for the team. We are hopeful that Julian will be available for Tuesday.
"I thought my captain was outstanding again today and led by example. Him and Gallers won everything they possibly could against big Fletcher and what we didn't win, we picked up the second balls. I don't think either goalkeeper has made much in the way of saves and although I suppose it wasn't much of a spectacle, in the position we're in we are not able fancy dan football. We have to score more goals, we know that, but the spirit and the character that is there gives us great heart for the next couple of games."
