The draft fixtures for the 2009-10 season have been released this morning.

Cheltenham Town will play at home to Grimsby Town in the opening match on Saturday 8 August followed by the Carling Cup first round match at home to Southend United.

The first away match of the campaign will be away to Hereford United on Saturday 15 August. The first new grounds for Cheltenham Town supporters to visit will be on Saturday 26 September (Aldershot Town) and Saturday 10 October (Accrington Stanley).

This season the Robins will have a home fixture on Boxing Day when AFC Bournemouth will visit the Abbey Business Stadium The final match of the season will also be at home when Accrington Stanley will be the visitors.

The fixtures are still at the draft stage at present as all clubs have seven days to make any changes to the lists. A list of fully confirmed fixtures will be available next week.
