Your chance to take on the legends

A Cheltenham Town Legends team will take on a team of supporters at the Abbey Business Stadium in aid of charity.

The match will take place on Sunday 12 July at 2pm and a host of popular former Cheltenham Town players have committed to taking part. Full details of legends team to be announced in coming weeks but currently players expressing an interest include many of those players who helped to elevate the club from the Southern League to League One via a Wembley final in only five years. Players who have been contacted are:  Neil Grayson; John Brough; Russell Milton; Richard Walker; Michael Duff; Dale Watkins; Steve Book; Lee Howells; Mark Freeman; Keith Knight; Bob Bloomer; Clive Walker; Mark Yates; Neil Howarth; Jason Eaton; David Norton; Chris Banks; Michael Jackson; Gareth Hopkins.

The fans team will consist of a squad of 20 players and the cost for taking part will be £60 for a minimum of 45 minutes playing time. The first 20 player applications with a cheque will be guaranteed a place. Admission to the match will be £5 with children under 10 admitted fee if accompanied by a paying adult.

Funds raised from the match will be split between the Robins Trust and Kidney Research.
