The constitution of Coca-Cola League Two for next season was decided this afternoon (May 23) when Gillingham won the League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

An extra-time goal from Simeon Jackson sent the Gills back to League One at the first time of asking and left Shrewsbury Town as beaten play-off finalists for the second time in three seasons.

Shrewsbury's New Meadow Stadium is among several grounds in next season's League Two that Cheltenham Town have not played at before. The Shrews have just completed their second season at the new stadium, which is situated on the southern edge of the town, having moved from Gay Meadow, their previous home near the town centre.

Other new grounds for next year are The Pirelli Stadium, home of BlueSquare Premier champions Burton Albion - another club to have moved to a new stadium since Cheltenham last played them - and the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield, which has been the home of Rotherham United for the past year. One team that the Robins have never played before is Accrington Stanley, who won promotion to the Football League two years ago, while acquiantances will be renewed with Dagenham & Redbridge and Aldershot Town. Cheltenham played Dagenham & Redbridge under their previous name of Redbridge Forest back in season 1991-92, while Aldershot's Recreation Ground was the venue for an FA Cup first round match in season 1946-47.
