Cheltenham Town manager Martin Allen has confirmed that he would like to bring in another loan signing before Saturday's Coca-Cola League One trip to Millwall.

Allen would not name the player or which position he plays but said he was hopeful that an agreement could be reached in time for him to link up with the squad.

Meanwhile, midfielder Dean Sinclair has returned to Charlton Athletic at the conclusion of his one month loan spell and Damian Spencer, out since the end of last season with a knee injury, has been added to the travelling party.

"I've had a chat to Damian and he is making a speedy recovery," said Allen.

"He'll be in the squad for Saturday. John Finnigan has a new consultants report and we're hopeful on that but he is still going to be out for some time.

"Everybody else should be fine for the weekend."
