Good afternoon

Last night was a very special night to get three points against a very good Bristol Rovers team. The support and backing for the players was outstanding and I'm sure you'll agree that the team produced a committed and hard working performance, expecially in the second half. At one stage we were under the cosh but their spirit and desire to protect the lead was there in abundance.

It really has been quite a mad busy few days and all the staff have really helped me to settle in. For that I am very grateful. Now we must all aim to improve upon that performance as there are a lot of areas that need to be improved before we travel to London and into the Lions' Den.

On that note, would any supporter like to make the trip with us on the team coach on Friday lunchtime; watch us train in London on Friday afternoon; have dinner with us on Friday night; travel with us to the game and have a seat in the Directors Box for the match; then travel back to Cheltenham after the match. This will cost you £500 and I know that's a lot of money, especially in current times, but I need to try and get this team prepared in the most professional way for the duration of the season.
