Cheltenham Town will send a young squad to play at Cirencester Town tonight (7.30pm) in the final pre-season friendly before the new campaign gets under way.

Shane Duff is due to start the match having missed the last two weeks of pre-season with a thigh injury and there will be chances for three trialists to impress.

Liam Atkin is a right-sided player who was formerly a trainee with Newcastle United; Callum Hart (defender) started out with Bristol City and spent last season with AFC Bournemouth; and left-sided player Andy Nicholas made over 100 appearances for Swindon Town in a five year spell at the County Ground.

Young striker Theo Lewis has a minor injury so will sit out the game. Youth team strikers Dean Maynard and Jake Lee will start in attack and the midfield will consist of Marley Watkins, Lewis Fathers, Josh Emery and Aaron Ledgister, all of whom have appeared in some of the previous pre-season friendlies.
