Mark Yates is pleased with the manner of his side's win today
Robins manager Mark Yates speaking to the press following this afternoon's convincing 3-0 win against Rotherham :"I've been encouraging Mohamed to use more of his left foot and it was a great finish by Jermaine. We created plenty of chances and Sam Deering was influential in the way we were getting it down and trying to get at them. We were aggressive, we started on the front foot and had a bit of tempo and that set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.
"Apart from a couple of good saves Scott Brown's not had too much to do and that's testament to the others. I thought Michael Hector was outstanding alongside Steve Elliott. Sido Jombati was back close to where we want him to be and he gave us an added dimension going forward too.
"Rotherham beat us very convincingly back at their place so it's about how we do on the day. Today was about making sure we matched what they're good at. Jason Taylor, although he didn't play, played a big part in making sure the players were massively up for it and this win is for him today.
"Jason didn't play because I had an agreement with Steve Evans that he wouldn't play against Rotherham. I contemplated putting him on the bench in case I needed him, but I stuck to my word and the karma gods were on our side today.
"There is everything to play for. There will be plenty of twists and turns in the run in to the end of the season now, and we need to make sure we turn up next week with the same attitude and the same aggressiveness that we've shown today."
