Williams: Repay The Faith

10 April 2014

Harry Williams has told www.ctfc.com that he is ready and waiting for his chance.

Much is being made of the young talent coming through the ranks here at Cheltenham Town and none more so than Harry Williams.

The 18 year-old attacking midfielder has been in scintillating form for the youth team throughout the entire season and has 38 goals to his name in all youth and reserve matches played in.

Harry is a Cheltenham boy, schooled at Balcarras in Charlton Kings and one of a few young Robins impressing Mark Yates and the backroom staff.

He will be travelling with the rest of the first team down to Exeter this weekend but Harry is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

"It would be great if I was to get an appearance on Saturday but it would be more important to get the win," he said.

"It's good to be in and around the boys so we can get to know each other so when I get into the team we will know each other's games and we can adapt. If I am chosen then I will try my very hardest to prove that it was the right decision.

"You don't want to elaborate or try things you wouldn't normally do because it's important to do the simple things that have got you to where you are."
