The Whaddon Road pitch is growing well following initial work on the surface this summer.
The Whaddon Road pitch is making good progress ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.Just over 2 months remain until the start of the new season but the grass is really starting to come through here at Whaddon Road under the watchful eye of Head Groundsman Terry Roberts. The rapid growth of the surface is a far cry from the sandy beach-like image that had been present just a week ago.
Robins chairman Paul Baker revealed here on www.ctfc.com last month that extra investment has been put into improving the pitch surface and it will see it's first taste of action on Friday 11 July in a pre-season friendly versus Wolverhampton Wanderers.
