AFC Wimbledon v Wycombe Wanderers

 

Wycombe continue their bid for automatic promotion out of Sky Bet League 2 when they travel to AFC Wimbledon. Wanderers are in third with a four-point advantage over fourth-placed Bury, who do have a game in hand. The Chairboys are 13/10 favourites with Sky Bet to win on the road this weekend, AFC Wimbledon can be backed at 21/10 and the draw is available at 23/10. The Dons are without a win in five matches but have drawn four of those games, including their last two home contests. Wycombe are strong on the road but the Dons could once again prove hard to beat.

Accrington Stanley v Stevenage

 

Stevenage go in search of a fourth win in a row when they travel to Accrington on Saturday. Graham Westley’s side are set to be part of the play-offs and are priced up as 5/4 favourites by Sky Bet for another three points. Accrington have done enough to stay in Sky Bet League 2 and are on offer at 21/10 for a home victory. The draw is a 12/5 chance. Cambridge United v Mansfield Town

 

Cambridge and Mansfield are separated by just goal difference in the Sky Bet League 2 table ahead of Saturday’s clash between the sides. Both clubs are nearly safe from relegation with second-bottom Cheltenham eight points behind the duo with only nine points available from their final three matches of the season. Cambridge are Sky Bet’s 5/4 favourites for the win, Mansfield can be supported at 11/5 and the draw is on offer at 23/10. The standings show how closely these teams are matched so don’t be surprised to see the match finish all-square.

Carlisle United v Plymouth Argyle

 

Plymouth are the 5/4 favourites with Sky Bet to claim victory on their very, very long trip to Carlisle. Exeter City v Southend United

 

Exeter and Southend both need three points to keep their respective hopes of a play-off place and automatic promotion alive. The Shrimpers are 6/4 favourites with Sky Bet for three points on the road, hosts Exeter are on offer at 9/5 and the draw is a 23/10 chance. Exeter forward Tom Nichols and Southend striker Barry Corr can’t be split as 5/1 favourites in the first goalscorer betting. You can back both players to net in the encounter at 11/2.

Luton and Hartlepool still have plenty to play for in the remainder of the season. The League 2 leaders are 21/20 favourites for victory on the road this weekend, Morecambe can be backed at 13/5 and the draw is a 23/10 chance. Burton are unbeaten in nine games and the last five of those matches have all contained under 2.5 goals. Morecambe lost 2-1 at York in midweek but won last time out at the Globe Arena with a 3-1 victory over Portsmouth.

Newport are the odds-on favourites at 8/11 for a vital victory over Dagenham to reignite their play-off push. The Exiles sit three points outside the top-seven after suffering three defeats on the spin. Dagenham are safely in a mid-table slot and can be supported at 15/4 for the away win. The draw is priced up at 13/5. Six of Dagenham’s previous seven games have contained under 2.5 goals and you can get 8/11 for below that mark this weekend. The Robins are now just one point from safety in the relegation zone and know victory at Northampton would provide their survival hopes with a massive boost. Cheltenham have been made the 100/30 outsiders with Sky Bet for the three points, while Northampton are on offer as the 3/4 favourites. The draw is an 11/4 chance. Northampton’s play-off aspirations are now all but over after a 1-1 draw at Oxford on Tuesday night. The Cobblers have led at the break in their last two outings – failing to win both – and are 11/8 for the half-time advantage in this encounter.

Bury are still chasing automatic promotion in Sky Bet League 2 as they prepare for Saturday’s trip to Portsmouth. Bury are the 6/5 favourites with Sky Bet for victory at Fratton Park, Pompey are on offer at 11/5 and the draw is a 12/5 shot. Portsmouth have only won one of their last seven games but still have one of the division’s most feared strikers in Matt Tubbs. Micky Mellon’s Shrews are the 8/15 favourites for the three points, York are out at 11/2 and the draw is an option at 14/5. Shrewsbury’s six-match winning run was halted by a 1-0 defeat at Bury in midweek but York’s revival is still going as a five-game unbeaten sequence has seen them climb to safety. The Minstermen are a side in form so take a look at the 11/8 for York/Draw in the double chance market.

Tranmere Rovers v Oxford United

 

Time is running out for Tranmere to secure their Sky Bet League 2 status ahead of Saturday’s clash against Oxford. Rovers now sit at the foot of the standings and have a two-point deficit to third-bottom Hartlepool. They have been made the 6/4 favourites for victory with Oxford outsiders at 9/5. The draw is a 23/10 chance. Oxford have drawn their last three matches and that’s a better record than Tranmere, who have been disappointed with three 1-0 defats on the bounce. A draw won’t help Rovers too much but it looks the best bet.
