Robins 10/11 Favourites

13 March 2014

The best odds available to you on Sky Bet ahead of this weekend's clash with Torquay United.

The Robins take on relegation threatened Torquay this weekend in what could be an unpredictable fixture.

Chris Hargreaves' Torquay United are currently 1/5 to be relegated out of Sky Bet League Two this season but a huge win over Rochdale in midweek must send out a warning to clubs expecting an easy ride against the under pressure Gulls.

Cheltenham Town will be favourites this weekend with odds of 10/11 but no-one will rule Torquay out at this stage and you can pick up an away win for odds of 3/1 currently. A draw between the two sides attracts odds of 5/2.

The previous meeting was down at Plainmoor in September 2013 and the Gulls, managed by Alan Knill at the time, won the day by a 4-2 scoreline. A reverse of that scoreline, in favour of Cheltenham Town, would give you odds of 80/1 but perhaps a 2-1 win for the Robins represents a safer bet with odds of 8/1 and that was incidentally the scoreline in the last match between the two sides here at the Abbey Business Stadium. Cheltenham Town have drawn the last two games however so a 1-1 scoreline could be a real possibility at 9/2.

Both Byron Harrison and Terry Gornell scored at Plainmoor back in September and you can get odds of 13/2 for both players to score on Saturday. It was however Jamie Cureton that scored the equalising goal away at Oxford on Tuesday and for the veteran striker to score first you can pick up odds of 5/1 right now on Sky Bet. One player that will be a threat to the Cheltenham defence this weekend however will be on loan Enoch Showunmi who hit the post against Dale in midweek. The Gulls' powerhouse forward is currently 5/2 to score at any point during the game.

There are some great odds right now on Sky Bet but we have picked out a few more which could represent great value ahead of the game tomorrow:

- Zack Kotwica to score and for the Robins to win? 13/2
- Cheltenham Town to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2? 13/2
- Steve Elliott to score first this weekend? 40/1

Our bet of the weekend however will be Jermaine McGlashan to score first and for Cheltenham Town to win 1-0 which is worth 35/1 on Sky Bet. If you do take on our challenge, and if you are successful, then send proof of your winning bet to the media department (james.brown@ctfc.com) and you could win 2 match tickets to a future Cheltenham Town home fixture. We will need proof of the winning bet AND you must of course be a customer of Sky Bet having used the URL: www.skybet.com/cheltenham.
