Robins 2/1 For The Win

11 April 2014

The best odds available to you on Sky Bet ahead of this weekend's trip to Devon.

Cheltenham Town will take their impressive record over Exeter down to Devon this weekend but wary of an unpredictable Grecians side.

It is true that the Robins have gone head to head with Exeter on nine occasions and they have never failed to deliver three points but, in a season where records and form have no meaning, could this be the year that Paul Tisdale's side get their own back?

If you believe that Exeter can break the jynx and win then the odds 13/10 on Sky Bet whilst a draw is worth 12/5. We are of course hoping Cheltenham record win number ten though and odds on that happening are currently at 2/1.

The previous two encounters between the clubs have ended in 1-0 wins for Cheltenham Town courtesy of early goals. Russ Penn scored the winner at St. James' Park last season and former Grecian Jamie Cureton was the match winner at Whaddon Road on Boxing Day 2013. He has started the last few games but you can get odds of 2/1 for Cureton to score at any point during the game but a first goalscorer bet may be best suited with Byron Harrison who is 13/2 to score the opener. Another former Grecian, David Noble, could also play this weekend and to see him score his first Cheltenham goal at any point during the game is worth 9/2.

Another 1-0 win this weekend for the Robins would give you odds of 7/1 but perhaps a more ambitious bet of a 3-1 scoreline in the favour of Mark Yates' Cheltenham is worth an impressive 28/1. Of course Exeter will be desperate to gather security from the drop so a 1-1 draw between the two sides is certainly a strong shout at 5/1.

There are some great odds right now on Sky Bet but we have picked out a few more which could represent great value ahead of the game on Saturday:

- Exeter to be winning at half time but the Robins to win at full time? 33/1
- Cheltenham to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1? 11/4
- Matt Richards to score and for Cheltenham to win? 8/1

Our bet of the weekend however will be Sam Deering to score first and Cheltenham Town to run out 1-0 winners which is worth 70/1 on Sky Bet. If you do take on our challenge, and if you are successful, then send proof of your winning bet to the media department (james.brown@ctfc.com) and you could win 2 match tickets to a future Cheltenham Town home fixture. We will need proof of the winning bet AND you must of course be a customer of Sky Bet having used the URL: www.skybet.com/cheltenham.
