Cheltenham Town players have been benefiting from the AlterG this season.
The AlterG has been a major tool for the first team players this season when recovering from injury.AlterG is an Anti-Gravity Treadmill which reduces gravity's impact on joints and muscles when recovering from an injury. Several member of the first team squad have used the AlterG this season including Troy Brown, David Noble, Ashley Vincent and Joe Hanks.
The AlterG has given fitness coach Ian Hutton and senior physiotherapist Ian Weston extra support in getting these players back in action for Cheltenham Town.
The players use the AlterG when recovery training at Dan Fivey's gym in the town centre and Dan believes it's important to have a good local connection with the Robins.
"The AlterG takes the weight off so it's easier to put players through rehabilitation," said Dan.
"You can run pain free, faster and harder so it's a great tool for footballers. Several Premier League teams use it and a few Football Clubs including Cheltenham Town have been using it.
"Ian Hutton has been using it with the players and I think it's important to have that connection with Cheltenham Town because they are our local Football League club."
