Reserves Ready for Cup Battle
Italian winger Raffa De Vita is the star name in the Robins' reserves side for the cup game against Portsmouth reserves at the club's Seasons Training Ground this Tuesday afternoon.De Vita, who signed last week on a 3 month deal, came on as sub at Burton on Saturday but now gets the chance to impress Manager Mark Yates with his form and fitness.
"I've been training hard on my own and I'm in good shape but what I need more than anything is game time," said Raffa.
Youngsters Bobbie Dale, Adam Powell and Harry Williams who are all out on loan are also back for the cup game.
" We've got a strong side for this cup game and there'll be a start for all the players who were on the bench on Saturday. It's also a great opportunity for the lads out on loan to come back and have a go," explained Manager Mark Yates.
The reserves cup game kicks off at 14.00 at the Seasons training ground in Swindon Village and all spectators are welcome but there no extra facilities there.
