We’ve done what we needed to do to give the players every chance to recovery to go to Plymouth and be ready for another tough game on Saturday.
I don’t want to get dragged into a war of words with (Cambridge United manager) Richard Money, but I know what he said to me and he knows what he said to me.Â

My players have to be the same: competitive and they will never go out to hurt people, but we’ve had more bookings than normal and had a couple of suspensions already this season, but that happens.
Needless yellow cards aren’t good and I don’t like backchat, so we have to cut those out.
Plymouth have the tightest defence in League Two and I think John Sheridan’s knowledge and the way he sets teams up are superb.Â
We have to make sure we try and puncture their defensive record, or at least emulate them by keeping a clean sheet at the other end.
We’ve started to score goals, which is reward for the work we’ve done and the belief we’ve continued to show.
Things have started to turn for us and while we have a long trip, we can turn a good week into a really good one with another positive result.
I can only think of one second-half performance against Shrewsbury when we didn’t perform, but the Bristol City game took a lot out of us.
Goals have started to go in and Terry Gornell has found his shooting boots, with others joining in too.
