On loan defender Connor Goldson has returned to Shrewsbury Town this afternoon having been recalled.Connor's loan extension went through just days ago but Shrewsbury Town have activated the 24 hour recall option on the agreement this afternoon and the defender will now not be available for this weekend's away game at Burton Albion.
Shrewsbury defender Darren Jones twisted his ankle in a warm-up ahead of kick off in Shrewsbury's match versus Leyton Orient on Tuesday night and that has therefore led to the recall of Connor from his loan spell here at the Abbey Business Stadium.
Connor's departure will now mean Steve Elliott is likely to return to the starting XI as the Robins travel to the Pirelli Stadium following his recovery from an ankle injury.
