Four Young Robins Offered Deals

24 April 2014

Four of Russell Milton's second year scholars have been offered professional terms by Mark Yates this afternoon.

Professional contracts have been offered to four young Robins this afternoon.

James Bowen, Adam Powell, Harry Williams and Bobbie Dale have all been offered professional terms and will now consider their options ready for next season.

The remaining second year scholars Harvey Rivers, Elliott Keightley and Spencer Hamilton have not been offered professional terms.

The four players offered professional terms follow in the footsteps of Zack Kotwica who was given a two year deal at the start of the season. That means five of the club's Academy prospects have been offered professional terms this season which is more than ever before.

"The hard work starts now," said Mark Yates.

"We want local boys in our first team and they now have to work hard to get there. They know the standard we want to achieve and they had a tough lesson on Tuesday night at Bristol City. To offer contracts to four of our young players is good news but this is just the start for them."

We would like to thank all the second year scholars for their hard work and effort throughout their time with the Academy and we wish them the very best of luck for their futures.
