Check out the best images from last night's 2-1 defeat in the FA Youth Cup.

The young Robins dropped out of the FA Youth Cup after a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Birmingham City.

Russell Milton's boys started well and had the ball in the back of the net within a minute but Harry Williams' header was ruled out for offside. The young attacking midfielder did however have the opening goal when he was fouled in the area and awarded a penalty. His initial strike was saved but the rebound was headed home by the youth team's top scorer.

Cheltenham had opportunities to stretch the lead through Bobbie Dale and Zack Kotwica throughout the first half but Birmingham were beginning to fight their way back into the game. It took a lucky equaliser to get Birmingham back into the game however with Bobby Moseley's freekick being heavily deflected beyond Rivers right before half time.

The second half was very much bossed by a Birmingham side stepping up into a new gear. The wingers consistently posed problems but the young Robins held firm with Harvey Rivers in superb form between the posts. It took a wonder goal from substitute Kyle McFarlane to beat Rivers and ultimately win the game despite late pressure from Cheltenham.
