Fan Consultation Panel

20 March 2014

The deadline for the Fan Consultation Panel is approaching if you haven't already expressed an interest.

Interest in the proposed Fan Consultation Panel has been good but there's still time to get in touch.

The recent Fans Forum here at the Abbey Business Stadium saw an idea proposed by the Chairman to create a 'Fans Consultation Panel' aimed at improving engagement with the fan base and highlighting issues the club needs to address.

Interest has been strong but there is now a deadline of 9am on Monday morning (24th March) to volunteer for the panel. Simply email media & communications officer James Brown (james.brown@ctfc.com) with a few details about yourself (age, where you watch in the ground, season ticket holder or not etc.). Those who have expressed an interest will be contacted shortly after the deadline about creating the panel.

"I am sure there is some scepticism out there that it won't make any difference," admitted Paul Baker.

"But if you are passionate about this football club, then why don't you get involved? Put your ideas into the mix so when the club for when the club is thinking about packaging for next season, in terms of our pricing strategy, where the home fans might go, whether there will be a singing section or not and what we can do to help the matchday experience. You guys are the ones out there who have the better experience than I have because I'm not out there in the stands."

More details on a 'Fans Consultation Panel' will be revealed in the coming week once interested supporters have been chosen. The panel will be designed to give the club a rounded view on criticisms, ideas and issues that need to be explored in an effort to improve the matchday experience here at Cheltenham Town.
