Keiran Thomas and Michael Gonzalo sent out to receive work experience in non-league.
Cheltenham Town youth players Michael Gonzalo and Kieran Thomas are both heading out on work experience with Chippenham Town and Cinderford Town respectively.
Â
Gonzalo, who plays at centre back, heads to Chippenham for some well-deserved first team experience and the 18 year-old is sure to help the Evo-Stik Premier Division side who currently sit in 16th position.
Â
Thomas, also know at Cheltenham as âPit Bullâ, will be sent out to Evo-Stik League Division One side Cinderford Town to gain first team experience and to help them in their relegation battle in which they are currently 8 points above near neighbours Bishop's Cleeve.Â
Â
Russell Milton, the Centre of Excellence Manager, believes sending both players out on loan was the right decision.
Â
âWe just felt it was good for them to go out on loan and to get some experience of menâs football,â Russell said.
Â
âIâm sure they can make a difference to the teams theyâre going to and theyâll find it totally different so it will be a good education for both of them.â
