Club Statement as the Kents leave the club

27 June 2016

Many years of outstanding service

Cheltenham Town's Finance Director Tim Kent has decided to leave the Board after 6 years to pursue other business and personal interests.

Tim joined the Board at a very difficult time but through hard work, professionalism and determination he has overseen a marked transformation in the accounting and finance side of the club leaving it with strict financial disciplines in place. Tim and his wife Siobhan are first and foremost supporters of the club and will continue to support the team in the future.

The club would also like to express its thanks to Siobhan for all the years of service she has given to the club, we wish them both every happiness in the future.

Commenting on Tim's decision, club Chairman Paul Baker said, "I would like to place on record my personal thanks for the significant contribution Tim has made to our football club. It is, and remains, a very difficult business to manage sustainably but Tim has left us in a much better position to ensure we can do just that."
