Welcome Ronny!
Congratulations from everybody at the club to striker Danny Wright and his partner Lisa Chew, who gave birth during the week.'Ronny 9 Wright' was born at 6:10pm on December 30th weighing 6lb 10oz. Everyone was home safe and well in time to bring in the new year!
"In true footballing fashion he tried to come out feet first, but both mum and baby are recovering and doing brilliantly" said Danny.
Ronny's unique middle name has drawn the attention of Wright's teammates, "I'm getting a lot of stick from the boys for the name but we love it! It's written 9, not nine!"
Despite the whirlwind end to 2015, Danny would have been ready to face Kidderminster today, "I was in training on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (no rest for the wicked!), as was still desperate to play in this weekend's game and keep pushing for promotion! That's still the aim and would be the perfect end to an amazing season!"
