Opening friendly of summer at Cirencester Town on Saturday

10 July 2015

Cheltenham Town play their first pre-season friendly of the summer at Cirencester Town on Saturday (3pm).

The Southern League Premier Division club are managed by former Robins midfielder Brian Hughes, who guided the Centurions to an eighth placed finish last term. Their chairman, Steve Abbley, is another former Whaddon Road favourite.

A host of summer signings will be on show in Cheltenham colours for the first time at the Corinium Stadium, with at least 10 of the 11 new faces set to play.

Prices are £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Directions to Cirencester Town: Leave A417 at the Burford Road Junction (named on the road signs). At that junction, go up the slip road to a roundabout. At the roundabout, turn away from Cirencester Town Centre and up to the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road to a T-junction. Turn right, the road takes you back over the bypass, and then turn first left into Kingshill Lane. The Ground is half a mile on the right.
