Annual Robins Christmas visit to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

16 December 2014

Cheltenham Town’s players visited the children’s centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

They handed out Christmas presents as part of the annual event organised by the Robins Trust.

“This is something I look forward to every year and it is great to see the players putting a smile on both the children and parents’ faces during what is a difficult time of year having a child in hospital,” Robins Trust chairman Clive Gowing said.

“We couldn't do this without the support of the fans and everyone who bought a raffle ticket at the Dover Athletic FA Cup game.

“The players were brilliant and actually had a kick around with one young lad. They were pleased to meet all the children, chat and hand out the gifts.”
