Another Month For Jake

4 January 2013

Jake Taylor will be a Cheltenham Town player for another month after extending his loan deal.

Jake Taylor will be with Cheltenham Town for another month after agreeing a loan extension from parent club Reading.

Jake, 21, originally linked up with the club back in November in a deal that would see him through until this month but that has now been extended.

"I'm happy to get it done finally and I can't wait for the next month," said Jake.

"We'll be looking to do a job on Monday and then, after that, well be trying to push our way up the league again. There is a good buzz around the club right now for the Everton game and its great for the club and fans. Whaddon Road will be a great place to be on Monday night.

"I speak to my coaches after most games and they're happy that I'm out and playing games. I'm enjoying it and it's good for both myself and Reading."

The Welsh U21 international has made eight starting appearances for the Robins so far and has scored one goal which came in the 4-0 win over Wycombe here at the Abbey Business Stadium.

Jake's Reading team-mate Lawson D'Ath has returned to his parent club after making 3 appearances, including one as a sub, and scoring one goal.
