MATCH REPORT:

The Robins have made it two wins out of two in the Central League after a 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers at our training ground this afternoon.

The game set off at a fast pace with lots of fiery tackles going in, but it was Cheltenham who dominated possession.

A trialist for Cheltenham opened the scoring in the ninth minute, slotting home from close range to make it 1-0.

Calum Kitscha at the other end produced several great saves and was arguably the stand out player for the Robins.

Striker Danny Wright made it 2-0 in the 21st minute, beating the keeper from eight yards after a great cross from youngster Jacob Nutting.

Centre back partners Matt Bower and Dan O'Shaughnessy combined well to keeper Rovers out along with Kitscha as the visitors started to grow in confidence but it was still 2-0 at half-time.

Kitscha again impressed in the second half and it wasn't until the 81st minute that he was finally beaten. One of six trialist for Bristol Rovers pulled one back with a smart finish from inside the box.

Both teams had chances in the final few minutes but couldn't convert and the match ended 2-1.
