Formerly known as the 'main stand', this was built in 1963 and has seats for 1,068 people including a family enclosure in Block C. Contained within the building are the club's administration offices, social club and conference facilities, executive boxes and also the dressing rooms.
Paddock and Tunnel Enclosures
These sections of terracing in front of and alongside the Main Stand prove popular with the club's older established supporters. Many of the fans who stand in these areas have followed the club for many years dating back to the non-league days. The Paddock area has a capacity of 704 and the Tunnel Enclosure can accommodate a further 370 home fans plus a number of disabled supporters.
Prestbury Road Stand
Situated behind the goal at the Prestbury Road End of the ground is the 'home end', a bank of terracing which was covered in the summer of 2000 and can accommodate 1,980 fans. The 'Liberty Mutual Insurance stand' is popular with younger supporters and tends to be the place where most of the noise comes from these days.
This 2,000-seater facility was completed in November 2001. Light and spacious with excellent viewing lines, the In2Print Stand has proved highly popular with supporters and is always the first section of the ground to sell out for big games. From 2009/10 visiting supporters will also be accommodated in the In2Print Stand.
The Whaddon Road End of the ground was re-developed in 2005 with the creation of the Hazlewoods Stand, which has 1,100 seats. From 2009/10 the Hazlewoods Stand will be occupied by home supporters and if necessary, part of the facility will also be offered to visiting fans to The Abbey Business Stadium.
Disabled facilities are located within the In2Print Stand, the Hazlewoods Stand and in the Tunnel Enclosure in front of the Main Stand. There are wheelchair places for both home and visiting supporters plus disabled toilets. For booking information please telephone 01242 573558. In total there are 68 wheelchair bays (including helpers) at The Abbey Business Stadium. Ambulant disabled facilities are also available on request.
Car parking is limited here at the Abbey Business Stadium but you can pre-book a car park space on a matchday by contacting Jennie Thomas on 01242 588101 or email@example.com. Matchday parking does coast £5 per vehicle. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is also restricted.
